Scope of work of Software House (Software Company) - Nuneaton
Software House is a company that creates dedicated software. Members of the software house team have advanced technological knowledge, but not all of them are programmers. To create software it is also necessary to deal with business analysis or consulting during the planning stage. A software house that is reliable will both take the greatest care of making the application and leading you through the whole project.
1. What kinds of software are created by our Software House?
Our Software House deals with designing mobile applications and web applications.
Web apps (also known as internet apps) can be opened just like any other websites in a web browser (like Google Chrome, Mozilla, Firefox, Safari). You can enjoy its functions on each kind of device, which has access to the internet.
If you want to use a mobile app you have to install it on any mobile device you like Predominantly it's done via Google Play or App Store. The benefit of this solution is easier access from application level to smartphone's resources, for example internal memory, contacts, microphone, localisations or possibility to operate offline.
Each day we create web and mobile versions of applications, which are internally integrated via REST API. The example of an application that has both web and mobile versions is Facebook, available as a web application, which can be opened in a web browser and mobile application, which can be installed on smartphone or tablet.
2. What technologies and programming languages are used in our Software House?
PHP and JavaScript are fundamental for our web applications. Of course we always use some other programming languages, but they are only additional help. We use MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite and Firebase for working with databases. In some unique cases (if it's beneficial for the customer) we use frameworks, for example Laravel, Symfony, Vue.js, React.js.
In the case of making mobile apps we rely on technologies, such as Xamarin and React Native (systematically expanded by Facebook Inc., which has on its account projects of mobile apps like Facebook App, Instagram or WhatsApp). Thanks to this relatively new solution, we can make hybrid applications, which means those apps that are harmonised with Android and iOS systems. This solution can be more profitable because approximately 70% of code is shared between both operating systems. Remaining 30% is native code, which is written individually for each system. To create mobile applications, we use programming languages like Java, JavaScript, Python, Kotlin, Swift.
