Introduction
Our cooperation has been continuous and the solutions and optimisations implemented so far have been steps towards a larger goal. For a long time, we had been jointly planning a comprehensive rebuild of the entire e-commerce platform. Not a cosmetic change, but a fundamental one. The new store is the result of a long term plan and an in depth analysis of the needs of both the company and its customers. We started by developing a complete information architecture and a new functional layout. At the same time, we ensured that all existing integrations and mechanisms were preserved, optimised or further developed.
Each functionality was thoroughly tested in the development environment and deployments were carried out in a minimally invasive way, outside the sales window (previously analysed together with Luxtrade), so as not to disrupt store operations. The final result is a consistent, modern service that has genuinely improved user convenience and streamlined internal processes on the Luxtrade side.
